Aleksandra Kowalska (pronounced Al-ek-s-uh-n-dr-uh Ko-val-ska) is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Songs from the Bayou. She is a Polish-born American who works as registered nurse that lives with her older sister Zaklina Kowalska and cousin Olivia Kowalska.
Appearance[]
Aleksandra is an athletic-build Caucasian 5'9" woman with medium Auburn hair and forest green eyes. She has three outfits that'll she default to after destroying a disguise set during a mission. Her first outfit consists of a black leather jacket over a white shirt, with jeans and boots.
Her second outfit consists of a black shirt with square and circle patterns with olive trousers and bowling shoes. A reference to Roman Bellic. While her third outfit consists of a yellow Floral Sun Dress, brown Knee High boots, and dark tan Stockings along with a watch.
As a nurse; she wears dark green scrubs with dark green boots.
Personality[]
Aleksandra is very protective and caring to her friends and family. She prefers a pragmatic approach to situations but isn't afraid to adapt when needed.
Aleksandra also appears to be diagnosed with mild depression and anxiety. As result, she frequently visits her psychologist, Dr Tracey Park. Her depression was caused by the murder of her father and uncle, causing a deep resentment towards their murderers. The loss also ignited the decision to leave her country.
She is generally kind and warm, especially towards elderly and underpriviledged patients. She is not afraid to stand-up for people and even criticize those who try to push or force pseudoscientific views onto others.
Following What Choice Do I Have?; she undergo a psychological change in which if she kills Aurora for $4000; she slowly becomes detached over the time and becomes more secretive while if she kills Navy for $240; she slowly become more secretive and begin questioning her action less each time she kills someone. Additionally; her secretive nature results in her lying to Olivia about not being around Cody and Nicole during a party which resulted them in contracting the coronavirus, however, despite being around them during their infection - she wasn't infected with the virus even when she was sneezed on.
Prior to the events of Grand Theft Auto: Songs from the Bayou, Aleksandra held Antigypsyistic views which spawned by the death of her father and uncle which was ordered by Romani mobsters, however, she was able through therapy separate the actions of the Fierplămânis from the Romani people and was able to leave her antiziganism behind her although she still has tendency to refer to Romani people as "g*psies" when talking about the memories of her father and uncles death.
Background[]
Aleksandra and Zaklina alongside their cousin Olivia were raised and lived together in Poland for 8 years. After their father (Olivia's included) were killed, the three moved to New Bourbon with their mother and aunt (Olivia's mother) where they remained for 20 years. While living in America - they were put through the American Schooling System as Aleksandra's mother, Masia Kowalska, would after take Zaklina and her niece-in-law to the local Gun Range to teach them to defend themselves while their aunt, Saskia Kowalska, would often try to teach them to let go of the past.
Aleksandra at the of 10 would eventually join the Juvenile Gun Range Group in which she would eventually become a proficient shooter with small arms like pistols by age of 14. At the age of 14; her and classmates went on a school trip to Europe in which she managed to sneak away from her school to track down Dragos Fierplămâni in which she found him at his family home where he was having dinner with his family and his brother's, Vilhelm, family. In a fit of rage; she ended up hogtying both brothers and in front their wife and kids after forcing them to confess what they did - she beat them to death with a menorah before leaving after calming down in which she realized what she did before heading to clean herself off and returned to her classmates having not ran into the hitman to killed her father and uncle.
Upon her return from Europe; she would later give up her pursuit of revenge to pursue a career in nursing. In which, she personally took interest in chemistry, biology, and a few other subjects that would help her before joining Nursing School.
At the age of 21; she would meet El Burro at a rave party and have a one night stand with him, however, during the same night she found benzofury in his backpack with stolen medicine from the New Bourbon East Hospital prompting her to split before he even woke-up. She would attempt to ghost, however, he continued to pursue in order to have his drugs recovered.

During the night of Mardi Gras; Aleksandra's workplace is disturbed by mysterious armed goons that attempt to kidnap Jean-Luc and Emily Deveraux. Luckily, they flee the scene when the police arrives before managing to collect those two.
