| Butaniku-gumi is set in the 4K Universe. |
The Sixth Butaniku-gumi is a yakuza organization and was loosely inspired the various yakuza groups. It is also called the Anywhere City Yakuza due to their strong presence in Anywhere City.

Kasai Butaniku took over the Butaniku-gumi at some point prior to 2022 and was able to establish a number of fronts and covers to slip by law.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: Four's a Party[]
They make their first appearance as Elena was told to protect Jack Speed from the Yakuza due to James's fears of the other Speed Brothers descending upon the city, prompting Elena to begrudgingly protect him from Yakuza and later the Bratva.
Elena later aids them against the Loonies attempting to destroy the Dōtai Research Labs due to the Yakuza-run research labs being used research treatments and cures for mental illnesses. Elena would later go onto prevent a gang war from starting between the Yakuza and Carjackers.
Elena along with Krystal Kripke later discovered the corpse of cop in dumpster which turned out to be Quinton Locke and was killed by the Yakuza for investigating them prompting Elena and Krystal to stake out the a Yakuza warehouse where they intend to apprehend Gojima Misuke which resulted in firefight with other Yakuza members before Gojima was apprehended
