Factions

Factions are the organizations that are relevant to the game's storyline. This element features in all GTA games.

Use this category for fanmade original factions only. For different versions of canon factions, such as Ballas (Idontknowmyname1112), use the “Category: Canon Factions” instead. Articles about list of characters (e.g. Gangland/Gangs) do not belong here.

Don’t forget to check the Factions Index for list of notable/iconic factions in this wiki (coming soon).

Subcategories

For factions/gangs made for projects, please make a separate subcategory of “Category: Factions in [project name]” (e.g. Category:Gangland Gangs) to sort all related character pages. Then place that subcategory in “Category: Factions by Projects”.

You may also use the following subcategories for the factions' alligment:

• Category: Gangs - For criminal organizations.
• Category: Law enforcement agencies - For law enforcement organizations.
• Category: Businesses - For business enterprises. Category is merged with fanmade brands.

Other than the categories mentioned above, do not add new subcategories based on genders, race, nationalities, etc. Do not make “Category: African-American Organizations” or anything similar. They’re unnecessary and are currently being sorted.
