Demetrio "Demetrius" El Rey Ajedrez is an American-born Mexican of Colombian, Argentine, and Wolof descent as well as a member of the San Fierro Rifa.

Personality

Demetrius is a complicated individual as he is willing kill to protect the Rifa, but he will always show genuine remorse after doing so. He can also be loud, wild, however, he can be comforting to others and will offer support when necessary. He has often expressed reluctance in killing members of law enforcement due to the kind of heat it would bring. However, he is capable of improvising on the spot - cutting up a car seat to make himself a makeshift face mask.

Appearance

Demetrius is a 6'2" man with medium brown skin, dark brown eyes & hair with a buzzcut, and stubble. He often wears an outfit consisting of a turquoise bandanna, white beater, black slacks, suspenders, and black shoes.

Background

Demetrius was father by a Mexican-Argentine man of Wolof descent, , and an Mexican-Colombian woman, Samanta "Samantha" Ajedrez Morales, in Doherty, San Fierro. His father was the owner of the Dutchman's Frontier Garage which was converted from a disused Xero Gas Station. It was through the garage; he was able to meet his longtime friends and eventual fellow gangsters; Tito Domínguez and Quinto Cardeñoso. The trio formed the San Fierro Rifa at only age 16; when Tito and Demetrius stole drug money from the Alborotadors at Missionary Square in Little Square following a street race.
