Don't Destroy J-Lab is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Four's a Party given to the protagonist Elena Salazar to James Wagner. The starting location is James's parked car in front the Sweetsmile Motel.
Plot[]
Elena approached James as he was sitting in his car with his cryptomining equipment as Elena approached his window in which he told her that the Motel owner was becoming suspicious of their activities and thus he was going to find another place to set up before telling her that a contact in the Asylum has tasked their other contacts with destroying the Dōtai Research Labs as he wants to stop their research into helping manage mental illness. Elena agreed to deal with the Loony contacts as James headed after giving her her chips and dollars from the last job.
Elena made her way over to Red Valdez Housing to meet with Christopher Ramirez to get a Mini SMG and a Double Shotgun from him after calling him ahead of time before heading off to the Research Labs.
Gary contact Elena to tell her that the Yakuza security were expecting trouble and will treat her as threat as well before advising remain outside and avoid attacking them as she waited for the first wave of Loonies. As Loonies armed with grenade launchers, rocket launchers, grenades, or flame throwers. After taking out the first wave; Elena's attention was brought to the TW@ on Lower Ginseng before an explosion suddenly erupted it destroying the entrance and most of the roof. More loonies arrive as they try to use the explosion as a distraction only for Elena to recover and fight the Loonies off.
However, after defeating the second wave, James contacts Elena to tell her that their contact in the asylum has just told him that Benny has had a large truck rigged and was on its way as he was able to track it through the traffic camera and has located before telling her where to find it as Elena went after it as James told her not to let explode in the city.
After killing the driver; Elena drives the truck of the city after doing so; she leaves the truck on the side of the road when a squad of loonies arrive to try to reclaim the truck. After taking out the loonies; she was about to trigger the explosive but notice that the it was set to explode as soon as it was trigger which meant that it was a suicide truck bomb before opening the back and noticed the explosive before heading across the road as she grabbed her sniper rifle to shoot the truck causing it explode; destroying the nearby trees and leaving a crater in the ground.
After Elena contacts her Asylum contact to inform that the truck was dealt with as Benny was convinced that they succeeded and has stopped sending men to destroy the Labs before thanking her and agreeing to send her payment.

"Gun fire was exchanged between the security of the famed Dōtai Research Labs and crazed gunmen that intended to destroy the research labs as they were working ways to help and even potential cure mental illness. An unnamed aid came to the security's rescue as she assisted in taking the gunmen before abruptly leaving to stop a truck-bomb from reaching it. Police want to questioned her for vigilantism, hijacking, murder, and destruction of private property."

James: Hey, I was able to set up in the condemned warehouse in Viborg.
Elena: Is that a wise decision? It was condemned due to carbon monoxide leaks.
James: I was able to work with a few people to have the carbon monoxide removed by a small team a few weeks.
Elena: Okay, I'll make my way over when I am not at work. It'll would be a good indeed to keep up appearances.
James: Agreed.
