Safer City Together! |
The Eden City Constabulary (ECC) is the official law enforcement agency tasked with maintaining peace and order across Eden City. Under the leadership of Chief Constable Scotty O'Sullivan, the ECC is known for its uneven enforcement of the law, with constables often under-equipped and occasionally swayed by corruption. Despite this, they remain a key force in the city's fragile balance of power.

Organization
Detective Division
The Investigative Division is responsible for addressing a diverse array of criminal cases, ranging from petty theft and burglary to complex organized crime operations. This division operates across multiple specialized units, each tailored to handle specific types of crimes, ensuring efficiency and expertise in their investigations.
Joseph Wakeman
Detective Joseph Wakeman began his career in the ECC as a patrol constable, partnered with veteran constable Rodney Dunn. His early days were marked by exceptional intuition and dedication to justice. Wakeman quickly made a name for himself by resolving high-profile cases, such as apprehending Leonard Fitch, a serial robber terrorizing Central Eden, and stopping an armed robbery at ESB Bank King Street, where he defeated the suspects and secured hostages without a single innocent casualty. His defining moment came when he solved the brutal murder of constable Cole Staton, who was shot on the street, by piecing together the evidence and arresting the killer in just 48 hours.
Homicide Squad
The Homicide Squad is responsible for investigating all murders within Eden City, from domestic disputes to gang-related killings and serial homicides. It is staffed by 20 detectives, 5 sergeants, and 1 Inspector, each tasked with solving cases across the city.
Jacob Crowley
Jacob Crowley is a homicide detective with the Central Eden Division of the Eden City Constabulary, infamous for being one of the department's most corrupt officers. In 2010, Crowley was promoted to detective in the Homicide Squad. While his work often led to case closures, his methods were far from ethical. Known for bending rules, tampering with evidence, and accepting bribes, Crowley's corruption has become an open secret within the ECC, making him both a feared and controversial figure in the department.
Ben Luther
Narcotics Unit
Specializes in drug-related investigations, staffed by 30 constables, including detectives and plainclothes constables.
Aaron Levi
Maria Villagomez
Maria Villagomez, often called "Villa" by her colleagues, is a lesbian woman originally from Bison. A highly skilled narcotics detective, Maria built a reputation for her expertise in dismantling drug operations in Bison and her relentless determination to bring criminals to justice.
Transferred to the Eden City Constabulary at the request of Scotty O'Sullivan, Maria was brought in to address the rising tide of drug-related crime in Eden City. Recognizing the need for a seasoned narcotics detective, O'Sullivan personally sought out Maria, trusting her experience and no-nonsense approach to make an impact in the ECC's often chaotic and corrupt environment.
Sexual Offenses Unit
Handles cases involving sexual crimes and assault.
Operations Division
Bill Hathcock
Kingdom Yard
Located in the heart of Central Eden, the Eden Central Police Station District Headquarters, or simply nicknamed "Kingdom Yard", serves as the headquarters of the Eden City Constabulary. Here, the territorial police force is tasked with overseeing law enforcement across Eden City's districts.
Kingdom Yard has a reputation steeped in corruption and inefficiency. The station operates more like a fortress, with its imposing brutalist architecture symbolizing both authority and intimidation. Inside, the hierarchy is plagued with backdoor deals, misallocated resources, and a culture of complacency. Constables are known to prioritize favors for influential figures and turn a blind eye to high-profile crimes, creating a sense of mistrust among Eden City's residents.
