Ghosts from the Past III is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Four's a Party given by Robert Williams to player characters Dean Wintergreen and Elena Salazar. In order to start the mission - Dean/Elena has to call Elena/Dean for hang out and starting location.
Plot[]
Dean and Elena arrived in front of Robert's property which as simple 1850s style house with a few windows that see more 1960s than 1850s. Dean told her that he met with Robert a several years ago in this very location where he finally paid him off helping him get away from Crofts. A pair of men, one with a bolt-action and the other with a marksman rifle, approached and asked the pair what they wanted in which the man with the marksman rifle recognized Dean as an ally of Robert but was suspicious of Elena. Dean introduced Elena to community of Saint Morgan in which they all use the simple-living settlement style as front to cover their more illicit activities in which he reveals that they run a cash counterfeiting in which they make fake but convincing Afghani that they trade for real money. Robert opened the door in which he invited the pair in as they went down into his basement which the entrance was hidden behind the fireplace. Elena was surprised to see a drying sheet of acid tabs hanging in the middle of the room in which Robert showed her around his acid lab before telling the pair that he was able to organize the explosives to be built, but his contact wants ₭6540 for the work accumulated in which Dean offered his farm's earnings, however, Elena told him that buying cats will have them tracked and traced while non-crypto creates a paper trail as she tells him that she runs a cryptomining and chip operation in which Robert told her that it takes a month to mine ₭6450.
Robert led them to a room that he used to run his cryptomining operations through the use of an old computer system that was long outdated while using a more outdated version to connect to Real Investors on the DarkNet as Elena looked around and noticed that he had plagues and chips scattered on one table while having a few ePagers connected to one of the cryptominers in which Robert told her that ePagers were a good alternative to chips and plagues, and agreed to let her and Dean take one each stating that the two he was giving her has ₭6.95 stored of them individually. He told the pair that Brasilia has the second largest amount of cats in the county after Joaquin which confirms that she has a total of ₭9999.99 with Dean questioning how they'd steal it. Robert tells them that Brasilia has at least six stash houses in which she splits the cats between in which he told them the best one to hit was in Starkweather Village. Dean wants to hit all them and burn them to ground while taking the chips from the Starkweather Stash house in which Elena and Robert disagree as it would bring them too much attention. Dean begrudgingly agreed to only go after one of the stash house before the pair left.
After transitioning back in the car; Elena was in her Luxury Disguise Set while Dean was in disguise from the cave as they made their wave over to Brasilia's stash house in just outside Starkweather Village in which Elena tells Dean that he'll have to be smarter when dealing with the cartels as they weren't afraid to kill anything or anyone just to get to him in which Dean told her that he already knew that in which Elena scolded him for forgetting. They arrived in which the stash house was already being robbed by the Razorz in which Dean and Elena told them to hand the chips over which incurs a gun battle between the pair and the Razorz while collecting the chips and plagues from them. After taking out the Razorz and stealing their stolen cats; they went inside the stash house which was being fronted as a Auto-electrician business while inside; Elena noticed the Acid Lab in the basement as Dean told her that he was going for the rest of the cats as the game switches over to Dean as Elena told him that she was going to make sure there wasn't any surprises.
As soon as Dean has collected a total of ₭2999.99 in which Dean groaned that it wasn't enough in which he told Elena that they're going to have hit the other stash houses for the remaining 7000. Elena re-entered the stash house in which Dean question her about, but he told her that she considering a new venture in her business as she was looking something else to cook before telling him that he shouldn't expect things to go to plan all the time in which he nodded as he asked her to meet him at the next stash house as he doesn't want to be seen with her transporting the acid lab equipment in which Elena called him a square and agreed. After switching to Elena; she heads her coke den where she meets with Alexis and Christopher met with her in their TEDFAC and DOA uniforms respectively as they asked why she called them away from work in which Elena told them that she was finally able to get themselves so decent equipment for them to finally start making acid. Alexis told her that the Martinez brothers have only ever worked with coke in which Elena has been keeping tabs of someone that has PhD in chemistry. Chris and Alexis nodded at her before telling her that they were going back to work before Elena went off to locate the chemist.
After driving at ten miles away from the coke den; the game prompts the player to switch or forces them to switch if they take to long to Dean in a Novak. Dean has managed to reach the fourth stash house since Elena left having stolen a total of ₭4200 from the three additional stash houses. He makes his way over to the fifth stash house ignoring calls from Elena and Robert where he takes the Insensatos protecting the stash house before stealing the crypto from the safe. With ₭8599.99 collected, Dean left the stash house with his duffel bag strapped to his back as he went outside while taking a juice box with him as he went to the back of the Novak where a Cartel member was bound and taped in the back as he told him that he was going give him a drink, and not scream or he will "accidentally" nick his artery with his knife as he cut an opening to the tape to let him drink as "Cocinero Cobarde" told Dean that he doesn't know who he was stealing from in which Dean told him that he knows exactly who he was screwing over and did it before. He tossed him out of the SUV before getting in as he told him that he was going to hit the final stash house.
After he eliminate the Insensatos from the final stash house and stole all the crypto chips, plagues, and ePagers from the safe; he made his way back to Robert's safe house in which Elena was waiting for him a scolded him for taking too long as they went down to the basement in which he dropped the duffel bag in which Robert and Elena were shocked and annoyed that Dean went against their instructions in which he told him that the cartel has been a nuisance to him for twenty-five years and wanted to send a message that he wasn't going to put up with them anymore. Elena argued with him that he needs to be smart in dealing with them or the people he loves will being killed again, and told him that he just stole the equivalent of USD$65,399,934.60 from Joaquin's most trusted and highly dangerous captain. Robert told them both to calm down and let him do what he needs to do in which they nodded at him before leaving as Elena expressed that she's got an acid lab to run now before they went their separate ways.

Aftermath[]
- Following the mission - Dean can go to a KittyCat ATM to convert the crypto he was given into cash. Additionally, Dean and/or Elena can buy stock from either the BAWSAQ, Liberty City Stock Exchange, Arbella Financial Market, and/or Heartworks Stocks.
- The front businesses of the Insensato Cartel in Bullworth County will be closed and inaccessible following this mission.
- James Wagner's mission blip for both Dean and Elena will appear on the map at Promised Lake after five in-game days.
