Grand Theft Auto: RPG (or simply just Grand Theft Auto) is an upcoming instalment of Grand Theft Auto made with RPG maker.

Plot[]

An 18-year-old Australian engineering student by the name Tyrone Henderson is studying abroad in Canusa. He maintains a simple life until being sought out by Austrian mobster Tyler Schneider.

It takes place in Canusa - a fictionalised version of Billings, Montanna and is part of the 4K Universe.

Features[]

  • The gameplay involves RPG elements used in RPGmaker games.
  • Unlike traditional RPG - only Tyrone's "LUCK" that will level up. The following occurences will happen when it does:
    • His inflicted and received damage will be increased/decreased
    • His "hit" chance will increase.
    • His "dodge" chance will increase.
    • He will gain the ability to attack to people at once.
    • The ability to avoid fights will increase.
    • Intimidation and persusasion chances will increase.
    • Haggle chance will also increase.
  • However, like traditional RPG - the player will be able attack with his party members in a "fight".
  • A "mission" option will appear in the taskbar when "interacting" with an NPC which will allow the player to complete missions for a character, however, only certain NPCs will respond affirmatively to this option other characters will either be confused and simply won't answer.
  • In true RPG fashion - fights will either be done by going up to an NPC and selecting "fight" in the "interaction menu", during a mission, or certain areas that'll automatically place the player in a fight.
  • In a similar fashion to GTA2 - in the up-left corner of the screen will have the active "Mission bosses" that the player has unlocked - when a certain number of missions are compelted the "icons" will disappear and possibly be replaced by a new mission boss.
