Grand Theft Auto V Option A Extension is an extension of GTA V that adds new missions after picking Option A in the ending of GTA V.
Synopsis[]
This DLC aims to expand the story of GTA V following the Option A ending (where the player is able to kill Trevor), addressing the narrative gap left by the limited post-ending interactions, which consisted of a few phone calls.
Plot[]
After killing Trevor Philips as Franklin Clinton in a fiery death, him and Michael DeSanta split up, which brings up GTA V's credits. After that Franklin gets a phone call from Jimmy DeSanta, Michael's son. He asks Franklin why did he do it, then hangs up. Then he gets all of these other calls including one from Ron Jakowski, who says ''Fuck you'' to Franklin.
Then, Franklin gets a phone call from Chef, who says business has failed since someone killed Trevor. Franklin then heads over to the meth lab. Chef then asks about Trevor, wondering if Franklin knows who did it, he suggested that Michael did it, to not raise any suspicion about Franklin killing Trevor. Chef then asks Franklin to infiltrate the 3 Angels of Death drug vans that are heading to Los Santos. Franklin does more jobs for Chef and then he gets a call from Michael, where he says to meet him at his house, where he tells us we need to lay low and he is gonna take care of it.
Michael then meets Lamar Davis and Travis Williams where they do different jobs and more. Then Travis betrays Michael and Lamar, shooting Lamar in the chest. Michael then rushes Lamar to the hospital where they get infiltrated by the Angels of Death. Michael then defends Lamar as he gets treated. He then goes to DeShaun Griffin, a former Ballas member, now turned Grove Street Families (HD Universe). DeShaun then asks Michael to do a couple of jobs for him, then he will help Michael find Travis. DeShaun then asks why is he doing all of this, and Michael responds ''Because I'm trying to get us out of this shithole after me and my friend killed a man called Trevor Philips''. Then they find him and get through his men and then kill Travis. Franklin and Michael then go and kill Chef, as he found out they killed Trevor. Then they go back to Los Santos to Lester, they plan to steal all of Trevor Philips Industries' belongings and money. Michael and Franklin then prepare for the heist and they basically ''steal'' the meth business.
After this, they take down Ron and Wade after they found out who killed Trevor. Now, Franklin and Michael take down the Angels of Death, Travis' men, and DeShaun Griffin after finding out he was a spy in the Ballas. The two then go to Michael's house to talk about things and then the credits roll.
Characters (major)[]
Franklin Clinton[]
Main protagonist of GTAVOAE, he is friends with Michael, Lamar Davis and Lester, and is the one who killed Trevor and is the one who started all of this.
Michael DeSanta[]
Secondary protagonist of the extension, he is friends with Franklin, Lamar, formerly DeShaun Griffin and Lester. He is the father of the minor character Jimmy DeSanta.
Chef[]
He is one of the antagonists in the extension. He was a business partner of Trevor and also seen from his name, cooks meth.
Travis Williams[]
He is an antagonist in the extension, who was firstly a friend of Michael and Lamar, but then betrayed them by shooting Lamar. He is also suspected to be a Ballas member.
Lamar Davis[]
He is the third main protagonist in the extension, he is a good friend of Franklin, and a friend of Michael, formerly Travis and DeShaun. He likes to joke alot.
DeShaun Griffin[]
He is another antagonist, but only at the end of the game. He helped Michael dispose of Travis. He is a spy in the Ballas.
Lester Crest[]
Heist planner and good friend of Michael and Franklin, and formerly of course, Trevor. He rolled with Michael, Trevor and Brad in 2004.
Ron Jakowski[]
He is the main antagonist in the extension, and a good friend of Trevor and Wade. He used to do jobs with Trevor when he was alive. He has his own radio station, Blaine County Talk Radio.
Wade Hebert[]
The secondary antagonist in the extension, and like Ron, a good friend of Trevor. He used to ''tag along'' with Trevor and Ron when he was alive.
New Features[]
Grand Theft Auto V: Option A Extension has some new features from vanilla GTA V, like
Food from vending machines[]
There are new food vending machines all over San Andreas where you can buy snacks, along with sodas. A soda costs 1 dollar, and there are different foods that have different prices, like in the convenience stores.
The newly added ''Hovercraft'' vehicle and the races along with it[]
There are now Hovercraft races across Blaine County, just get in the Vortex and start the race!
New side-mission: ''Meth Courier''[]
There are always more drugs to steal! New courier side-missions where you can steal couriers, and be the courier.
More rampages[]
There are now 5 more rampages across San Andreas where you can unleash your anger, now as Michael!
House properties[]
You can now buy houses across Los Santos and Blaine County, and enter them! Just like in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
And there are more opportunities to explore, that I didn't name here!
