The Ingot appears to be based on the Volvo 850 Estate and 1988–1993 Volkswagen Passat (B3). This high performance version of the Ingot is primarily based on the Volvo V70 R AWD and the Nissan Stagea Autech 260RS, while the VD90R namesake is taking it's name from the Volvo 850 R.
It features a bodykit consisting of a aggressive front bumper, side skirts, a debadged mesh grille, VD90R emblems on the sideskirts and in the grille, lower ride height, and a roof spoiler.
Performance wise, it features all-wheel drive, higher acceleration compared to the stock Ingot, and better grip due to the wider, low-profile tires.
