Juan Manuel Ruiz is a main character and antagonist in the game, Grand Theft Auto: Las Venturas. Juan is also the leader of the Ruiz Cartel, and during the events of the game it is said that ever since he and rival gang leader Ernesto Badillo arrived to Las Venturas, tourists and visitors began dwindling.

During the mission Final Confrontation, Austin Tyko, Kyle Miller, and Finn Mulholland make their way to a warehouse in Las Venturas that the Ruiz Cartel acquired after Ernesto Badillo and his gang were taken out. There, the rest of Ruiz's enforcements are slaughtered, the trio makes there way up to the roof of the building where Austin shoots Juan Manuel in the face whereafter his corpse falls to the ground below.
