Birth & Early Life[]

Deshaun Jermaine Harris was born in the Chamberlain Hills neighborhood of South Los Santos on January 17, 1992. He grew up on Forum Drive, one of the main streets the Families gang control. He is the second of four children with an older brother, and two younger sisters. He and his siblings were raised by a single mother for the majority of their lives. His father tragically passed away when he was 5 years old in 1997 in a shootout that occurred in the parking lot of the Maze Bank Arena in La Puerta. His father was a member of the Grove Street Families, a set of Families active from 1969 to 1996. He met his longtime friend, Lil CKB at 2 years old. Their mothers were friends and lived next door to each other. Harris joined the Chamberlain Gangster Families when he was 15 years old and is rumored to have first killed someone at 17.

Gang Life[]

Harris was described as a "ruthless and reckless" person in his days of gang banging. He is rumored to have killed 15 people, shot 21, and shot at almost 50 people. Friends and even himself have said that he has been involved in plenty of shootouts and is also rumored to have been present for or assisted in 10 deaths. He would record videos of him and his crew going to the Ballas hotspots like Grove Street or Brough Avenue and taunting them. They would even take pictures of themselves cracking Ls on Grove Street when they weren't outside. His rivals also described him as a ruthless and reckless person. Besides the negative things, he had a child with his at the time girlfriend, Naomi Smith before his rap career took off. They had a son on July 17, 2012.

Early Rap Career[]

Harris had a passion for rap since the young age of nine. His mom would buy musical equipment like speakers and microphones for him to use. He dropped his first song called "Rollin' Gangstas" in 2010. He started the Los Santos drill scene in early 2013. He said he was influence by the Champaign drill scene and rappers like Lord Drosa and Lil Murk. He dropped his debut hit song called "Where they at" on October 9th, 2013. This song got almost 300k views in the first 24 hours. The song also led to direct disses like "We outside everyday" by rival rapper Big Bird, who was a very popular rapper from the East Side Ballas set.

Rise to fame & Near Death[]

After his debut, Harris didn't let the fame change him much. He would still argue with his rivals on Bleeter, make fun of their deaths, taunt them, chase them on foot, chase them in a car, and even once posted a gruesome picture of a rival lying dead in a street of South Los Santos and quickly deleted it. He would still face legal issues and be in and out of jail for things like DUI and illegal firearm charges. He would often get involved in high-speed chases with the LSPD and be put on house arrest. He often got into disputes with small rappers from Champaign who would say that he and Lil CKB were trying to "take over drill music and make it for themselves." After getting enough money, he moved to Mirror Park in East Vinewood along with Lil CKB. They both would still go back and give money to the people in their neighborhood. With all of the fame comes people that want to harm and even kill you and people like the Ballas in this case, who have always wanted to kill him. He was shot at on three different occasions during his rise to fame. He was shot at while driving, while standing on Forum Drive, and even at a performance in Rancho. All of these times were unsuccessful, but he was finally hit and almost met his fate one day in 2014. A newspaper article reading:
"On March 23 at 4:52 pm while walking in an alley in Davis, SA, an unidentified suspect wearing a purple jacket and blue jeans came from a corner and fired five shots. This time, three of those shots hit Harris. He was hit in the torso, left shoulder, and the left side of his hip. He was taken to Central Los Santos Medical Center in critical condition." He wasn't expected to survive, and he was even mistaken for dead online. When he got out of the hospital, he dropped his hit song "They tried" and he is even rumored to have killed the person who shot him the day he got out.

He was then involved in another shootout while on tour in Alderney City that left 1 person dead and 6 people injured in 2014. A report on this story says:

"On June 17 at around 12:29 am in Acter, Alderney, a shooting outside of Diner Bar Cocktails left one person dead and six people injured. None of their injuries are considered life threatening. This started after a group of 9 men walked up to rapper "LS Devil", real name Deshaun Harris, and tried to rob him. One of the men Harris was with then pulled out a pistol and shot the man in the chest causing the people from Harris's entourage and people from the other side to pull out guns and start to shoot at each other. Among the people shot was also rapper "Lil Clover" whose real name is Troy Simpson who was shot once in the arm. Andre Barnes, professionally known as "King Dre" from Harris's entourage then came over and shot Michael Stanley, the man who shot Simpson, in the face 8 times, instantly killing him. Barnes was later arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter, although he did beat the case. Harris and Simpson both were questioned and claimed they did not know who did anything."

Harris, as usual, would go on Bleeter and make fun of the situation by making multiple posts with one saying "Ni**a try again get did like mike" and others like "IF we see yall bum a*s again we gon blow", "Thought me and them ni**as wasn't bout it till they Fu**ed mike up", "9 ni**as walked up on 8 of us n Five oF they ni**as got clucked lol", and many other posts.

Death of close friends & Jail time[]

Harris lost plenty of unknown friends and even some known ones due to gun violence and gang activity. The known friends he lost were Lil Rhino in 2012, Slim Skills in 2013, and the one that hit the hardest for him and fans, his longtime friend Lil CKB in 2014. It is confirmed by the LSPD that Big Bird is the one who killed Lil CKB. Just two days after CKB's death, 10 people would be killed and 4 would be injured. A newspaper article reads:

"On September 13, 2014, in South Los Santos, 10 people, all members of the "Ballas" street gang, were killed. 4 people were injured, 1 in critical condition, 2 in serious condition, and 1 in good condition." One person who was injured told the police that it was LS Devil who shot them with an automatic Assault Rifle. On October 27, 2014, LS Devil was put in jail to await trial for two years and was also investigated for the other 3 attempted and 10 murders. This was the toughest time for him, family, friends, and even fans as he had 4 attempted murder charges and 10 murder charges against him and could face a 177-year life sentence. When the trail came, he was fortunately found not guilty on all 14 charges and could walk free.

Rap Career after jail[]

After he got out on November 8, 2016, he would immediately take the money he already had and the money he made while in jail and move from Mirror Park to a nice mansion in Jernigan, Tequesta. He would then drop an album called "Jernidevil" that would feature his hit songs like "Rollin' in a Banshee ft. Lord Drosa" and "For CKB ft. King Dre and Lil Clover. This album was produced by his close friend, Greenthumb and the album is now AMIA 2x Certified Platinum. On April 19, 2017, He would get married to his girlfriend, Kiana James, and she would have their first child the same year. They had two more children in 2020 and 2021. In 2019, he dropped his hit single called "For Life", dedicated to his wife, Kiana James, who he met at a performance in 2013. As of 2021, he doesn't drop as much as he used to but still occasionally does. He is now more focused on raising his 4 children with his girlfriend. He does go live more on Instagram. On one live, he explained why he doesn't constantly drop songs and albums anymore or rep his set like he used to where he said "I started rapping so I could get money for me and my people. I also started gang banging to get money too. I don't gotta do none of that no more shit I got everything I want. I got a nice house, nice cars, nice family, and money so I'm straight. Why would I get on top and get everything I want to go back to the bottom? Forum Drive finna forever be in me but I'm not finna go around claiming that shit no more."
