Liberty City Inside

Description

Liberty City Inside is free update included in Grand Theft Auto: Deleted Scenes. In this update, numerous new features will be added - safehouses, weapons, interiors and etc.

Updates

System

By importing engine from GTA: Vice City, players now can use similar functions. These changes will affect and update few story missions. However, motorcycles and helicopters won't be updated to preserve storyline and difficulty of final version.

• Icons of Ammu-Nation, Pay 'n' Spray and Hospital will be showed on the minimap whenever players are at nearby of them. For the hospital, it'll use white cross icon with red background.
• New clothes are added. For the list, see below.

Weapons

Like in GTA: Vice City, players now can choose and buy weapons at Ammu-Nation via walking into corona. Phil's Army Surplus, another arms shop at Rockford, uses same function.

• Camera is also added, so players now can take photo. It'll be used in some missions.
• Land Mine is added and can be purchased in Phil's Army Surplus. Players can use it only in vehicles.

Missions

• Liberty City Inside/Missions
  Missions in GTA III are changed and updated via importing engine from GTA: Vice City.

• Last Man Standing
  Now players can use 'Hostility OFF' option for not being attacked by hostile gangs. This function can be unlocked via assassinating high-ranking members and associnates of each gangs and suppress their grudges.
  These 'assassinations' will be separated into several DLCs based on their clients or gangs.

Geography

Locations

New exteriors and interiors are added. Some of them can be visited in specific missions and accessible via Hidden Interiors Universe.

• Bitch'n' Dog Food Factory
• Francis International Airport
• Ardler Arcades - Added on the Shoreside Terminal LCS.
• Benzene Recreation Center- Added at the south of Hope Medical College.

Safehouses

New safehouses are added with their garages. So players now can enter and save their game by taking save point resembling pager. Also players can save their vehicles.

They can be purchased when they're unlocked, like in GTA: Vice City.

• Portland
  • Vincenzo Cilli's Warehouse
    Unlocked after completing "Salvatore's Called a Meeting". (1 parking lot)
• Staunton Island
  • Kenji's Casino suite
    Unlocked after completing "Smack Down". (2 parking lots)
    NOTE: If players kill Kenji Kasen in mission "Waka-Gashira Wipeout!", this safehouse cannot be obtained.
  • Love Media penthouse
    Unlocked after completing "Love's Disappearance". (2 parking lots)
• Shoreside Vale
  • Hangar #3
    Unlocked after completing "Grand Theft Aero". (3 parking lots)
  • Cartel Mansion
    NOTE: Only obtainable after installing and completing Shoreside Stalemate.

Upstate Liberty

Upstate Liberty, where is cut in final version of GTA III, is added in this free update. It shows new storyline after last mission, "The Exchange".

Outfits

Players now can wear various outfits by taking clothing icon like Vice City.

These outfits will be unlocked after completing specific missions and their icons will be spawned inside of Fabric-8 at Saint Mark's and Bedford Point.

Pedestrians

For variety, previous pedestrians will be spawned with random color combinations for their clothes.

Also, various pedestrians are added. For example:

• CRIMINAL3 - White skinhead criminal, wearing gray and black biker suit.
• FAN_MAN3 - Male Liberty City Beavers fan, wearing brown jacket and cap.
• FAN_WOM2 - Female Liberty City Beavers fan, same with FAN_MAN3.
• PROSTITUTE3 - Asian prostitute, wearing crimson chinese dress.
• STUD_MAN2 - College student, wearing glasses and green vest on white shirt, similar with students in Bully, Rockstar Games's another game.
• SHOPPER4 - Male shopper with one square shopping bag.
