Hell, I could replace the government of any country I wish just for fun!
I've done that couple of times already, by the way. Pretty hilarious.
I totally recommend.”
Lincoln Jones is a character in Grand Theft Auto series, who appears as a main character and the secondary antagonist in GTA: King of The Hill, as a main character in Los Santos Chronicles - Killer Instincts and as a mentioned character in many GTA games. Jones is the leader of international terrorism group NightHawk.
General
Not much is known about Jones, not even if his name is real. As the leader of the mysterious terrorist organization NightHawk, he is referred to by his followers as "Our Mighty Leader" and "The One." Jones exerts his influence from the shadows, partially controlling his operations from Lombank West in Los Santos.
Events in King of The Hill
In the shadows, Lincoln follows Miklos Lipton's journey of becoming the ultimate kingpin and ruler of Los Santos' criminal underworld. Believing Miklos is a suitable executor for a bomb strike he's planning, Jones contacts Lipton and tells him to meet him in Lombank West. Lincoln forces Miklos to do the job, but first, he gives him a couple of smaller tasks to be assured Miklos is able to do it.
After these missions, Lincoln reveals the job; Blowing up the east wing of Bollingbroke Penitentiary. Some former associates of NightHawk are held there, and the danger of them chattering is too high. Miklos works with his master criminal father, Michael, to plan the break-in. Miklos executes the plan and succeeds.
Shortly after the job, Miklos' criminal empire collapses due to the betrayal of Perry Harris. Instead of paying Miklos for doing the strike, Lincoln puts a hit squad after him, since he ain't a big player anymore. He would have been killed anyway to make sure he won't reveal anything about the NightHawk to anyone.
By the end of 2013, after crippling NightHawk and taking down Perry Harris, Miklos stood on the edge of what felt like victory. Lincoln Jones had slipped through his grasp... barely. In the aftermath, Miklos turned to his old boss and new friend, Otto Matic. His voice was steady but laced with unfinished business. "Someday," he said, "I'll find Jones."
It wasn't a threat... it was a promise. To track down Jones, Miklos would need more than determination. He would build an army. Miklos wasn't just planning to find Jones... he was preparing to drag him out of the darkness.
Events in Los Santos Chronicles (2014-2016)
After the near-collapse of NightHawk, the organization went underground, cutting all ties, severing connections, and vanishing into silence. Many believed they had dissolved entirely. Whispers spread that Lincoln Jones was dead or had disappeared for good. Their downfall seemed inevitable after Miklos Lipton and his crew eliminated Perry Harris, one of NightHawk's high-ranking operatives, and came dangerously close to killing Jones himself. It looked like the end.
But silence doesn't mean death. It wasn't long before shadows started to shift again. NightHawk began resurfacing quietly, operating in secret, using the Save Golden Company as a deadly tool. A string of hits followed, targeting former operatives, rivals, and anyone who dared threaten Lincoln Jones' grip. By 2014, NightHawk, still under Lincoln's leadership, was back in motion, this time, working in the shadows on something far more dangerous: the development of a powerful new drug.
With Miklos closing in and NightHawk collapsing, Lincoln understood that shadows alone wouldn't be enough to ensure his survival. If NightHawk was going to rise from the brink of destruction, Jones needed more than strategy, he needed a weapon.
That weapon came in the form of MacDonald Dalton, the notorious hitman from the Save Golden Company. Operating from the shadows, Jones ensured the orders never came directly from him. Yet, the message was unmistakable. The style of the hits, white suits, close-range executions, was pure Lincoln Jones. Every kill sent a clear signal to old allies, traitors, and rivals alike: NightHawk wasn't dead, it was watching, and it remembered.
Jones and Maximo had a history. Their past collaborations were marked by silence, violence, and precision. Despite this, Maximo never saw himself as part of NightHawk. Even when they branded him with the nickname "Knight", it meant nothing to him. He wasn't loyal to the cause, he was loyal to the paycheck.
But Jones understood Maximo better than most. He knew that every job, every target, pulled Dalton deeper into NightHawk's orbit. It wasn't just about money, it was about unfinished business. And whether Maximo admitted it or not, each trigger pulled was another step toward the inevitable resurgence of NightHawk, with Lincoln Jones orchestrating it all from the shadows.
As a reward, Lincoln promises to help Mac find the Swine Slaughterer, a serial killer guilty of killing Dalton's parents. Mac helps Dr. Zokuux, NightHawks narcotics manufacturer, to create the new drug Zokuux dubs Oblivion. The maddening hallucinations caused by the drug is too much for Peter Pines, a NightHawk associate, who orders Mac to destroy every trace of it and kill Zokuux. Pines also helps Mac on his search for the Slaughterer.
Behind the scenes, Swine Slaughterer manipulates Mac's progression, eventually getting some of the NightHawks' enemies attack Lincoln. Mac saves Lincoln, but NightHawk's Los Santos headquarters are destroyed. Lincoln leaves the city to lay low for a while.
Description
Jones is a deceptively young-looking man with short, slightly messy blond hair, always dressed to impress in an expensive white suit. His demeanor is a mix of unsettling calm and nervous energy, underscored by a perpetual smirk. Fully aware of his influence and political leverage, Jones wields his authority with calculated precision. His confidence is unshakable, and he has a knack for taunting those he looks down on with sharp, clever remarks, always staying one step ahead in their encounters.
Miklos doesn't have Lincoln's number in his phone at any point during the game. Jones always contacts him from unknown numbers.
Miklos points out, that during their meetings, he could just kill Lincoln and end NightHawk once and for all, which Jones replies: "At the same nanosecond you pull the trigger, your entire family and every single person you have ever met will be eliminated, every object you have touched in your lifetime will be annihilated, and you.. Well, the entire world will deny that you ever existed. I know, sounds ridiculous, but you do understand what happens if you fuck with me? Right?"

Win-Win Situation
Lincoln Jones.
The most important man in the United States.”
An early morning drive home after a job well done, Miklos Lipton is riding the high of success. The city hums awake as he blends into freeway traffic, for once feeling like he's in control. Then, his phone buzzes. An unknown number. And a voice... smooth, smug, and disturbingly well-informed... cuts through the airwaves.
Enter Lincoln Jones.
Draped in arrogance, with a voice dripping in calculated menace, Lincoln introduces himself as "the most important man in the United States." His tone is measured, almost playful, as he acknowledges Miklos' work, taking over the underworld, with an eerie familiarity. But when Miklos tries to brush him off, Lincoln plays his trump card... a direct threat to his girlfriend Jenni and his cousin Thomas, dropping the address of their supposed "secret safehouse".
Miklos' pulse spikes. The game has changed. With a spine-chilling laugh, Lincoln ends the call, leaving only one instruction ringing in Miklos' ears: "Lombank Building. Top floor. Now." Miklos has no choice. The real power player of Los Santos has just revealed themselves.
And Lincoln Jones? He might just be the true king of the hill...
Sample Test
I don't particularly like it when I don't know where my pawns are.
You see, I don't enjoy surprises, Mister Lipton.
I prefer order.”
Miklos stepped into the cold morning air, having faked the death of Seth Shillis and hidden him away, turning his phone off so he couldn't be tracked. He slid into his Caracara, fingers tightening around the wheel as his mind raced. A shadowy puppet master pulling his strings. The most powerful man in America treating him like a chess piece. A looming terrorist attack. And now, he was playing his own dangerous game, keeping secrets, faking deaths, and hoping Lincoln Jones wouldn't notice.
But Lincoln notices everything.
The moment Miklos powered on his phone, the call came through. That same chipper, smug voice. Radio-smooth but laced with something darker beneath the surface. Lincoln praised his efficiency in Vinewood, but his words soon turned sharp, coiled with malice. He didn't like surprises. He preferred order. And now, as punishment, he had prepared a test. A deadly one. In ten minutes, a bomb would reduce the Alta Street Tower to rubble. Rush hour. Thousands dead. And among them? Thomas and Jenni.
Miklos' blood ran cold. His fingers gripped the wheel like a vice, his mind already racing ahead. Lincoln's laughter was calm, almost delighted, as he warned against any heroics. He was watching. Always watching. The second Miklos made a wrong move, his loved ones would die. There was no time for hesitation. With a sharp inhale, he floored the gas pedal, tires shrieking against the asphalt as the Caracara roared forward.
Ten minutes. No mistakes. No mercy.
