Out of the Frying Pan is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: New Leaf given by "Posh" Ian Genoverse to Tristan Kirby.
Mission[]
Tristan goes inside the Rehab Centre and notices Ian smoothing talk the Orderly from the last mission and is about to go in when he notices that lobby is drenched with an unknown liquid and finds most of the patients and orderlies murdered. Tristan breaks down the door and runs to Ian to tell him that they are about be attacked and Ian gets him to protect him and his lover. They take cover as several WP grenades are thrown through the windows and sets the gasoline on fire as they explode.
Trapped; Tristan is forced to fight through the Triads disguised as firemen as he moves through offices. He shoots a fire extinguisher on the wall to extinguish the flames in the hall and only removes a small amount as Ian and his lover go into the patients room. The patient demands to know what is happening, but is killed by a Triad as he breaches through the wall while female Triad members attempts to surround them by Tristan eliminates them as Ian uses the destroyed wall to move through the hall. Tristan forces them into a storage cupboard and throwaway any flammable chemicals as he eliminates a wave of Triads before moving to window. He uses a fire hose reel in order to rappel Ian and his lover out of the building as Pablo Zhuang and Ronaldo Rong corner the three. However, a squad of Mobster arrive allowing them to distract Pablo and Ronaldo long enough to allow Tristan to kill them.
They escape the Rehab Centre and head off to an old Sprunk Factory on the outskirts of Mercer City and go there separate ways from there.

- Lead Ian and his lover through fire.
- Eliminate the Triads!
- Lead Ian and his lover through fire.
- Shoot the fire extinguisher.
- Go to the patient's room.
- Protect the Ian and his lover from the Triads!
- Move through the hall with Ian and his lover.
- Stop the wave of Triads from reaching Ian and his lover.
- Go to the window.
- Use the fire hose reel to rappel to the ground.
- Kill Ronaldo Rong and Pablo Zhuang.
- Get in the car.
- Drive to the old Sprunk Factory.
Deaths[]
- Patients and Rehab workers - Murdered by the Triads.
- Triads - Murdered by Tristan in order to protect Ian and his lover.
- Ronaldo Rong - Murdered for ambushing him and Ian.
- Pablo Zhuang - Murdered for ambushing him and Ian.
Outcome[]
There is no monetary reward for completing this mission but For Peace is unlocked.
