“So, you see, it's not my fault, Miklos. It's yours. Everything I've done, everything I do... you gave me the right to it. You pressed the button, pulled the trigger, made me who I am.
And now, every move I make is on you.
Trust me. Trust me, Miklos.”

Perry Harris, formerly known as Tony Meech, is the main antagonist in King of The Hill. Once the closest friend of Miklos Lipton, Tony and Miklos shared a bond forged during their time at Bullworth Academy and later in the military. However, everything changed after a fateful mission in Afghanistan.

Believed to have died during an ambush, Tony was captured and endured years of torment. Convinced that Miklos had abandoned him, his anger and resentment grew. Upon escaping, Tony decided he could no longer confront Miklos as himself. Using plastic surgery to completely alter his appearance, Tony became "Perry Harris," a new identity designed to infiltrate Miklos' life.

As Perry, he manipulated Miklos into helping him build a vast criminal empire under the guise of shared ambition. However, his true goal was to exact revenge... not only against the army that left him behind but also against Miklos, whom he blames for his suffering.

Biography

Childhood

Perry Harris, born in 1989 as Tony Meech Jr., was raised in the affluent neighborhood of Old Bullworth Vale, Bullworth, surrounded by wealth but deprived of true parental love. His father, Tony Meech, a self-absorbed and boastful businessman, was more concerned with flaunting his empire and enjoying his indulgent lifestyle than nurturing his son. Meanwhile, Perry's mother battled a severe drug addiction, leaving her emotionally and physically absent. In this hollow household, Perry grew up learning to fend for himself, developing a manipulative charm to navigate his neglected childhood.

In 2000, at the age of 11, Perry was enrolled in the notorious Bullworth Academy by his father. The school's chaotic environment was a breeding ground for bullying and conflict, but Perry's cunning nature quickly set him apart. He realized that survival at Bullworth wasn't about strength... it was about control, power, and fear. When Miklos Lipton arrived a year later, a scrappy yet honorable kid with a knack for defending himself, Perry saw an opportunity.

Perry wasted no time befriending Miklos, showering him with flattery and positioning himself as a trusted ally. Behind the scenes, however, Perry was weaving a web of manipulation. Miklos became more than just a friend; he was Perry's personal bodyguard, shielding him from the bullies and chaos of the academy. For Miklos, the friendship felt genuine. A rare connection in an otherwise hostile environment. But for Perry, it was all part of a larger game, with Miklos as an unwitting pawn in his quest for control and survival at Bullworth.

Military Career

In 2012, Miklos and Tony take part in an operation which purpose was to blow up an enemy weapon storage. Their unit was quickly detected and they were given orders to abort the mission. Tony insisted to accomplish the operation and tried to convince Miklos to come back with him and detonate the explosives. Miklos, always obeying the orders, declined and tried to tell Tony it was too dangerous. Not listening, Tony went back alone and instead of the storage, blew up (accidentally) himself. Thought dead, Miklos became depressed for losing his best friend, which eventually caused him to secede from the service.

As a matter of fact, Tony didn't die, but his face was badly disfigured. Angry at Miklos for not helping him, he decided to get revenge on him. He attended a plastic surgery, getting himself a new face, and under the name of Perry Harris flew back to the States. Tony then got a job in Merryweather security and started to plan his vengeance.

Events in King of The Hill

Six months after Tony's supposed "death," Tony, now operating as Perry Harris, began to set his plan into motion. He convinced Sgt. Otto Matic to offer Miklos a position with Merryweather, ensuring their paths would cross again. Miklos, unaware of Perry's true identity, accepted the job and eventually befriended "Perry Harris," who subtly manipulated Miklos into helping him build a foothold in Los Santos' criminal underworld.

After that, Perry betrayed Miklos, getting him dismissed from Merryweather and turned his new ally, Victor Sax, against him, to let him know what it feels when everyone turns their back at him. Despite the crushing blow, Miklos refuses to give up. Determined to uncover the truth and take back what's his, he begins plotting his own revenge against Perry, igniting a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

When Miklos had killed all of his supporters, Perry revealed his true self. Challenging Miklos to a final battle, he lured him to an ambush, but Miklos defeated it without a sweat. Out of ideas, Perry escapes to Mount Chiliad, but is tracked down by Miklos, who then kills him.

Perry Harris is pushed down from the cliff, dying for real.

Personality

Tony Meech, now operating as Perry Harris, is defined by his deeply rooted selfishness and an unrelenting need to deflect blame for his own misfortunes. He fixates on the belief that Miklos abandoned him, ignoring the reality that Miklos was merely following orders when the mission was aborted. This refusal to accept the truth allows Tony to cast himself as the wronged party, fueling his obsession with revenge.

As Perry Harris, Tony takes on a high-minded, charismatic, manipulative persona. Outspoken and persuasive, he positions himself as a visionary leader, carefully masking his manipulative tendencies under a facade of confidence and ambition. His ability to inspire loyalty and rally others to his cause stems from his cunning use of charm and intellect, making him a formidable figure in the criminal underworld.

Beneath this smug exterior, however, lies a man consumed by bitterness and a relentless desire to make Miklos, and anyone else he perceives as complicit, pay for what he believes was an unforgivable betrayal.

Quotes

“They say I'm crazy. They say I'm out of my mind. They are afraid of me, and people fear, what they don't UNDERSTAND.”
Be Polite
“When I was brought into this world, I couldn't rob, I couldn't steal, I couldn't lie, I couldn't even cheat. But, oh, I had some help learning. You, Miklos, you taught me so damn well.”
“Take a good look into my eyes, Miklos Lipton. What do you see? Two black holes swallowing up the sky, yeah? But when you look into these snake eyes of mine... you see something colder. Something devilish. Something deliberate. That's the difference between us. I take care of what I have to. I do what's necessary. Just like you taught me.”
“Your eyes, though? Your eyes weren't even there, man. You were out. Gone. But you know whose eyes I enjoyed the most? Jenni's. Her pupils, so small, so scared for the man she loved. And let me tell you, Miklos, what a rush that was. Up and down my back, man, it felt good. My hair tingling, goosebumps everywhere, listening to you squeal like an animal, helpless and flailing.”
