The fastest cop car on the market, this literal race car can catch up with the fastest suspects and look good while doing it. Really popular with state police, overfunded sheriff's offices, and Midwesterners.

The Bravado Police Buffalo STX is a four-door police muscle car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The S.A.H.P. Update.

Design[]

Grand Theft Auto Online[]

The Police Buffalo STX is a police variant of the Buffalo STX, based on the 2015–present Dodge Charger Pursuit. Its basic design mostly matches that of the regular Buffalo STX; however, the rear lip spoiler has been removed, and the rims have been replaced with those of the Police Buffalo and the FIB Buffalo.

The vehicle's livery is that of the San Andreas Highway Patrol and matches the livery used by the real-life California Highway Patrol, albeit without the "HIGHWAY PATROL" text on the trunk and with the motto on the rear fenders reading "Authority, Obedience and Subjugation" instead of the CHP's motto, "Safety, Service and Security". Two versions of the livery exist: a black and white variant (the most common; unit numbers are "C 39", "C 11", "C 91", and "C 54") and an all-white variant based on the CHP's special assignment units (rare, only appears at five stars, during Pursuit Race Series, and in the "Breakout" Backup Call; unit numbers are "C 43", and "C 02"). The all-white variant only spawns as a slicktop variant.

The Police Buffalo STX is equipped with a pushbar, a lightbar, spotlights, a police radio, and an interior partition. The pushbar is unique and holds a siren box and two red flashers. The trunk contains a traffic cone and a weapon rack holding a Carbine Rifle that cannot be interacted with. The slicktop variant always uses the white livery and has red and blue flashers on the windshield and rear window instead of a lightbar.

Performance[]

Grand Theft Auto Online[]

The Police Buffalo STX's performance is similar to its civilian counterpart, making it one of the fastest and best-performing emergency vehicles in the game. The only difference between the two vehicles' performance is the Police Buffalo STX's very slight decrease in top speed, likely due to the bulky police equipment on the vehicle.

The vehicle is powered by a single-cam V8 engine that is fitted with a supercharger, coupled to an 8-speed gearbox in a front engine, rear wheel drive layout. Its engine sound is mainly derived from the Buffalo S and the Sprunk Buffalo. Unlike its civilian variant, the Police Buffalo STX's engine sound lacks the supercharger whine, despite visibly having one installed; this does not affect its performance.

Prominent Appearances in Missions[]

  • A Police Buffalo STX in a random black-and-white livery is the default vehicle for all SAHP missions except SAHP - Ride-Along.

Locations[]

Grand Theft Auto Online[]

  • Spawns across the map if the player has a four-star or five-star wanted level.
  • Can rarely be found parked on the sides of roads and highways in Blaine County, driven by an SAHP officer.
  • Can spawn parked at La Mesa Police Station at any time of day.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the regular Buffalo STX, the Police Buffalo STX's windows are not bulletproof, and
  • The Police Buffalo STX and the Police Gresley were initially meant to be purchased on Warstock Cache & Carry, but they were removed for unknown reasons. Their page descriptions still exist in the game files.
  • The all-white variant of the Police Buffalo STX can be equipped with a lightbar, as the white design is only a livery; however, it does not spawn naturally. Only one appears, during the scripted pursuit segment of SAHP - Ride-Along.
