Restoring Hope is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: New Leaf given to Tristan Kirby by the Brotherhood of Just Sentinels.
Mission[]
Tristan knocks on the door of the Brotherhood's hideout at and one of its members opens the slit. He tells Tristan that the police in Lachlan Lake still have evidence of their vigilantism and it goes public all their efforts to bring the crime rate will be for not.
The Sentinel tasks Tristan with stealing all evidence of from the Lachlan Lake Police Department before it is officially filed. The sentinel commands Tristan to take the blindfold on the table next to him and put on as the Sentinel leads him to the bathroom and tells him to put on the police uniform.
Tristan does so as he spots an unconscious cop in the bathtub and quickly finishes. The Sentinel leads him back outside and tells him that the cop's car is around the back and tells Tristan to use it to head over to the station. Upon arrival at the Lachlan Lake Police Department - he is greeted by other officers as he asks for the evidence room. The desk sergeant tells him to take the fifth door on his right before returning to his desk duties. Tristan makes his way down but the cop by the door says he can't get in without a warrant or clearance by the captain.
Tristan apologises before heading out and pondering for a moment. He notices a window and decides to use it to enter the evidence room. While in the evidence room - he steals all hard copies of the evidence against the Brotherhood before the cop guarding the evidence room leaves the area allowing - Tristan to exit the evidence room peaceful before heading upstairs to get the main computer.
He receives a message to upload the Brotherhood's remote access software - Tristan complies and manages to gain access to the computer before hearing the captain calling for him by his badge number. Tristan spots a back way out of the building and uses to leave unnoticed before another text message tells him to get to the Terrorbyte across the road and gain remote access to the police department's computer.
After doing so - Tristan wipes all digital records of the group's activities and all video evidence of himself at the police department for good measure before being instructed leave the Terrorbyte and the town.
Gameplay[]
- Get in the Police Car.
- Go to the Lachlan Lake Police Department.
- Find a way to get access to the evidence room.
- Steal all hard copies of the Brotherhood's crimes.
- Head to the main computer and install the remote access software.
- Use the back door to leave the police station unnoticed.
- Go to the Terrorbyte and access the police station's computer.
- Wipe all digital records of the Brotherhood's crimes.
- Exit the Terrorbyte and leave the town.
Outcome[]
As a result of the completion of this mission - Tristan receives $4000 as a monetary reward.
