The Resurrection of Leone Family is a legacy refered in Grand Theft Auto: Last Stand.
Backstory[]
It all started with leader Salvatore Leone's knowing about the fact that Maria Latore inadvertently claims to have an affair with Leone's partner Claude. Salvatore plants a car with a self-activate bomb in an attempt to kill Claude, but Maria manages to warn Claude of this plot. The two meet on a small dock with Yakuza co-leader Asuka Kasen, who has Salvatore killed by Claude to prove that he has severed all ties to the Leone Family.
The Start[]
The Leone Crime Family is yet still alive, and they're laying their eyes on Claude. The leader was giving it up to Salvatore Leone's son, Joseph "Joey" Leone, to conduct a poll on who will be the next leader around some time in early 2002's. Either Joey will become the boss of the Leone Mafia, replacing his father Salvatore, being better known as the made-man who proceeds to be a predecessor of a well-known biggest man in the world, or either a related made-man will be a leader to be the next leader of the gang. The survey was asked to all of the members, and they made their chooises, later it became complicated among the members, including Joey Leone. Toni Cipriani yet knows about when there will be the next leader. They're well concerned that the results would vary, and that kept going for 3 weeks.
On the same date, after 3 weeks, after Joey Leone said that he haves serious business in his garage with other men waiting for him to get things done, and Toni Cipriani saying that he's still busy about his mother, in which he quoted I know about that, mister. I'm still with my ma, berating me. I dunno if i get to be a leader. Perhaps, i would may rather lay low than being in this circle-jerk of connections in between gang crimes, threating traitors and other related stuff in Liberty City. That's all i can say, and finally a related made-man named Randall Randy Bione Benedetti stood up when all other Leone Mafia members sat down thinking that after all these years... Finally.
Finally, there's someone being related to the former bossman, vicious fighter and gloriusly proud made-man stands up against anyone that gets in the way of a dangerous style related to him and Leone Family. After that, Randy proves how much dangerous he is by stealing a Nioka Kancho SUV from a Yakuza mamber and taking down over 50 men in sight and trashing the Kancho down by throwing it over to the river, while being far away from the Yakuza chasing him.
On the next day, Randy arrived to the Saint Mark's from his home in a black Cavalcade Retro in a convoy with black Sentinel Sedans, along with more than 150 people standing up and giving a standing ovation to Randy Benedetti, gave a standing ovation to the guy that became the leader.
