"SCOOT AROUND WITH THE SCOOTASU" was the craziest Japanese commercial we saw back in the day. A family of twelve all packing into the cab of this thing and then driving away while some tentacle monster fucks up Tokyo in the background. Sadly, the actual "Kei Truck" as they call it isn't anywhere near exciting as that. It's slow, cumbersome, and not very attractive. Unless, of course, you're into ugly stuff like that. Then yeah, we'll give you this Japanese import for $20,000, please.

Ahhhh, good ol' times when seein the SCOOT AROUND WITH SCOOTASU advertisement live on TV in 70's, about a massive thing in between this vicious Kei Truck and the Tentacle Monster. Yet even it's old and slow, but can just handle you out of handle. The infamous JDM Machine that even came in the pockets. And it's because this incursion just got taken TO THE EXTREME!

3D Universe[]

Nioka Scootasu in 3D Universe

The Scootasu was first featured in Grand Theft Auto: Grove Street Stories. This vehicle's design is very comparable to the Sweeper from GTA San Andreas. It has two seats, as opposed to the Sweeper's single seat. The Scootasu in GTA: GSS lacks the front street sweepers and the flashing lights on top of the cab.

HD Universe[]

Scootasu in Last Stand

The Scootasu re-appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Living and Grand Theft Auto: Last Stand. This time, the design of the vehicle is really different from what we see in 3D Universe. The Nioka Scootasu in HD Universe is based on the 1979 Suzuki Carry Pickup, with additional design cues from the 1977 Daihatsu Hijet, from the front bumper and the rear design. It has a grille that connects from the bottom. The bumpers at the front have signal lights and fog lights and other typical parts of the late seventies.
