The State of Robada is a landlocked state located in the western region of the United States. It is home to the famous city of fabulous Las Venturas and is also home to other cities such as Henry, Myron, and many others. It is also the primary location in the game Grand Theft Auto: Las Venturas.

Geography[]

Robada is border by San Andreas, Pauite to the east, and Deniza to the southeast, not unlike it's real life counterpart, Nevada. The state lacks the biodiversity of other states in the game, as it mainly consists of a dry desert climate, nevertheless it includes other landmarks such as Mount Beaufort.

Cities[]

Las Venturas[]

Las Venturas is the most populated city in Robada and one of the most famous cities around the world. It's famous for it's glamorous nightlife, many casinos and resorts, and was a major tourist attraction before the rise of gangs such as the Badillo and Ruiz cartels. Despite seeing better days, Las Venturas still gets a handful of visitors every year.

Hoover County, based on Clark County, Nevada, is one of the most important areas in the game, with most of its missions taking place within Hoover County's county seat Las Venturas. Hoover County takes many memorable locations from San Andreas, including the Sherman Reservoir and Sherman Dam.

Paramo County[]

Paramo County is mainly based on Esmerelda County, Nevada, but is also based on Mineral County, Nevada and Douglas County, Nevada. It's name come from the word "wasteland" in Spanish, which can be a reference to the county's emptiness compared to the other counties in the game, but it can also be a reference to Esmerelda County's small population.

Garant County[]

Garant County is based on Washoe County, Nevada and Lyon County, Nevada. It is known for having some of Lake Fresco in it and being home to the city of Myron. It was named after Robert Garant.

Comstock County[]

Comstock County is mainly based on Storey County, Nevada. It was named after Comstock Lode, which is located in Storey County.
