Hey, don't you know that from personal experience that everyone confirms that everything is indeed crunchy and soft when under the tire of a car? That's what a Nightshade does. Now, on the task: Some people are having a meeting with each other, with the most wanted of Los Santos being in. And that guy's name is Jake Evanson. He owns some Brazilian and Vietnamese a pack of documents, the silver sniper rifle, and... a pack of nuts. Kill him if need, take his wheels, bring it to me. He's at the San Chianski's, which is bordered by the Grand Senora Desert.
— Berisalio McWilliams to the player, the description of the mission
The Takin' It - Nightshade is the fifth mission from Takin' It series, featured in GTA Online: Tuning King.

Plot

Berisalio requests the player to steal a tuned Nightshade from Jake Evanson in a meeting at the Palmer-Taylor Power Station in San Chianski Mountain Range. The other people can be seen with modern sedans, 90's coupes and some kei cars. Jake and his car can be found right next to the white Tailgater S, with a man wearing thick grey clothes.

Take the Nightshade, and get out of the meeting place, once it's done, a call from Berisalio will happen and say that the Jake's men are looking for you, as if the car was rigged with a spy that calls out Jake's men as if someone stole his car. The men will arrive with Previons, Surges, Oracle XS and Reclamants. They're armed with pistols, SMGs, Assault SMGs and Bullpup Shotguns. When either the player kills the wave of Jake's men or escapes from Jake's men, a message from a Vagos member, B. Ochoa, tells the player that they're coming for him, after the player took Vagos' opportunity to ambush the meeting.

After taking care of the Vagos gangsters in Lowriders along with an Alborto with Assault SMGs, the player takes the Nightshade to the Auto Exotic garage.

Trivia

        • If the player aims at the soldiers when closer during the investigation, or they'll remeber that the player has messed with them before, they knock out the player with their Bullpup Shotguns.
      • If the player aims at the soldiers from a distance after they stop, they'll stop the car somewhere and engage a fight with the player, and after killing them, 10 seconds after that, more waves will come. Glitches

  • Rarely, Jake's men spawn in/near the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, which is considered as a type of glitch. Sometimes the guards go after them, might as well the prisoners, but they won't usually take much damage from them, except the player, explotions and fire.
    • Approaching Bolingbroke Prison and turning the camera in the opposite direction while the player is looking forward is not an option to activate this glitch, as it's not just a straight type of glitch, which makes it occur because of some inattention made in this mission, or either it's the player, depending on the luck. Overall, there's a 1/15 chance to active this glitch while playing replays.
    • The men will not usually spawn in the prison, as sometime they use the exit road quitely only before the drive normally and leave the place, later chase the player.

Easter Eggs

  • Jake Evanson shares similarity with Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin' video game. The outfit of Jake was similar to Boyfriend, even it includes baggy pants, albeit instead of circular red prohibition sign on the t-shirt, it has the hexagon shape red prohibition sign on it, which is something related to it.
    • Jake's models shares cues with Hollywood citizens and Asian-American citizens.
    • Jake's shirt texture is named ''jaketshirtbeep''.
  • On the other hand, the guy next to the Tailgater S wears a grey snow jacket, a grey Ushanka with black stripes on the ear flaps, black pants, and black snow boots. This appearence is similar to Ruv from Friday Night Funkin' Mid-Fight Masses mod.
    • The guy's model is based on the old member Armenian Mob (on the center of the footage), albeit the head of the model has other cues from a Madrazo Cartel member.
    • That guy uses other pedestrian's dialogue, instead of Armenian Mob's dialogues.
    • His shirt texture is named ''meetguy#31204akaruv''.
  • At once again, a Friday Night Funkin' reference. On the meeting, there's a man wearing dark turquoise hoodie, brown trousers and white ARES sneakers, by the name of Keder Pandey. This is a reference to Whitty from V.S. Whitty mod.
    • He seen squating next to the red Previon.
    • The model is similar to one's from a Madrazo Cartel member (on the right).
    • The name is a (not correct) reference to KadeDev and bbpanzu, two of the three creators of V.S. Whitty mode.
    • He uses Indian pedestrian's quotes.
  • There's a man next to a tuned Ravello named Sergey Zavaratkov. This is a reference to Sergei Zavorotko, a Russian crime lord, who formed a plan to lure Agent 47 out of retirement after he 'vanished' from the ICA. He is also one of Agent 47's genetic uncles and the main antagonist of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin game.
    • His model takes major cues from Varrios Los Aztecas members.
