Tyler Nathan better known as Tarahug is a rapper and entrepreneur from South Bohan, Bohan, Liberty City.

Early Life[]

Tyler Nathan was born to Joseph Nathan and Kimberly Nathan on November 16th 1977 in the area of South Bohan, which was heavily controlled by the Families gang by this time, as a child, he would often listen to Hip-Hop and write down lyrics about his everyday life. One day when he was 10, he asked his parents for $20, to which they responded by saying "make your own money". He then started selling drugs for the Families gang for about 1.5 years until he began to take music seriously. He would go out on to the street corner and freestyle, passer byers would give him money, he would come home with about $45-80 dollars a day. With this money, he began to buy clothes, trainers, hats and chains with this money. He started to save 3 quarters of his daily money in a stash he kept deep at the top of his overfilled closet. While he was freestyling, he met soon to be best friend and G-Block member, Jason Gylde a.k.a. Glydez J. Glyde introduced him to Samuel Thomas, a.k.a. Shook Lean. They all formed G-Block (as a clique), and released their first mixtape on December 22nd 1988, called The G-Block Come-Up. They made around $5,278 between them from this mixtape, this motivated them to keep doing music.

Association With The Families[]

The Families Gang had a huge presence in South Bohan, alongside enemy gang, the Spanish Lords. Tara had already aligned himself with the Families when he was selling drugs, he became a High-Ranking member of the gang and put in work, in his songs, he would reference his involvement with the Families and he often wore Green clothes to signify the fact that he was a part of the Families.

The Formation Of G-Block[]

For the next 3 years, he had remained mainly on the Underground scene, soon enough, he was recognized by artist, Bada Bling, from Problem Child Records. He, Glydez and Shook all joined the record label and released their first album, G-Block: Streetz Of Bohan, the album went 2x Gold and helped put East-Coast Hip-Hop back on the map, when Hip-Hop was dominated by West-Coast rappers at the time. By 1994, he, Gyldez and Shook formed G-Block records. He was 17 years old at the time. They then released G Block: On-top, which including hit singles, East Side Story and Coast 2 Coast, which sold 1,630,000 copies, he and his friends made a name for themselves and began to get more mainstream attention being featured on the cover of the Rap Industry Media magazine in December 1996, with the title: "The Next Big Thing?!". He then started doing solo songs, still being under G-Block, though.

Uptown Riders and Invests[]

Tara, along with other members of the DON reached commercial success by the mid-late 90's, they eventually left Problem Child Records, and turned G-Block into a Record Label. They then joined the newly-founded Uptown Riders collective, which featured rappers, such as A.T.C. (Always The Champ), Jade and Pull-Up and producers such as Killa Soundz. Tara featured on A.T.C's award winning, album Time For The Afterlife. Which featured hit singles such as Uptown Rydaz Anthem, By the late 1990's, Tarahug had a net worth of $13,000,000 and invested his money into stocks instead of wasting it, like most people do. He ended up making back $17,500,000, what has been his net worth, since then.

Solo Career[]

Tara released his first solo album on 2001 titled The Last Hug Of The Game, it gained commercial success and sold over 2,750,000 copies. He would then focus more on solo releases, though still being affiliated with the D.O.N. He would feature on songs with many artists, such as Madd Dogg, A.T.C, Dread-Gold and many more. In January 2004, he would release No Other Hug, which was and still is his most successful Album, hitting 2x Platinum, and staying on the charts for almost 20 weeks. The album had hit singles such as, Last Secondz and How, it had features such as Roche'lle, Big Dogg, Madd Dogg and others.
