Treasure City (mission) is set in the 4K Universe.

Treasure City is a mission given to Vincent Douglas by Adedayo Gong with Demetrius El Rey Ajedrez playable towards the end of the mission. It is also the final mission of Chapter 1 of Grand Theft Auto: Life in San Fierro.

Plot[]

Vincent answered the phone with Gong answering as he told him that the Yakuza have found out that he was the one that killed Shin with Vincent asked how only for Gong telling him that he believed that the one paying the assassins may have sold his identity to them to which Vincent told him that he could take care of the Yakuza, but Gong told him that it was too hot for him to do right now and should lay low for a while in Treasure City. Vincent groaned before agreeing as Gong went ahead and spoke with Peng whom owns 51 Pacific View Drive and has agreed to help him lay low before stating that he will have a contact of his meeting up with to act as his personal protection.

After thanking Gong, Vincent hung up and began making his way over, he received a page from Wei - telling him that the Yakuza have set up roadblocks along the major highways and freeways and thus told him to look out for them and stay safe.

After successfully leaving San Fierro and making his way into Treasure City - Peng will page Vincent to let him know that he has made set up a room for him in his place. Upon arrival at Hao's place - Vincent approached the door getting ready to knock only for Hao to open door and told a couple of Triads to bring his Vincent's stuff in as went onto show Vincent around.

The game switches over to Demetrius was sitting on the sofa at his mother's place watching a cartoon the television with a bowl of potato chips with him and a bottle of Cerveza Barracho beer when he received a page from Adedayo Gong telling him that he had laid low long enough from the Taylors before adding that he was about to call him. Gong explained to Demetrius that he had been working with man named Vincent Douglas to get him do a few favors in exchange for helping Vincent learn who was trying to kill him before telling him that he had Vincent kill the Oyabun of the Hakaitsuki-gumi which and they have since learned of his identity, and were after him. Demetrius made a snarky remark but Gong ignored it and told him that he wants him to protect Vincent for him and told that if he agreed - he won't have killed. Understanding the situation, Demetrius reluctantly agreed with Gong telling him to make his way over to Treasure City, but told him to first he was going to put him in touch with someone that he knows there but needs to get some money to him and thus he told to go to his money house in Lower Argon Heights to collect the money he had arranged.

Demetrius agreed before hanging up and making his way to his car before heading over to the money house where Cho Hai was waiting him. Cho told him that he was told to make sure Demetrius didn't run off with money as Demetrius noticed Cho having a pistol .50 in his hand before going inside and grabbing a carryall after Cho directed him to money. He noticed the banknotes were all 50,000៛ notes which Cho told equaled to KHR2,500,000,000៛. Confused - Demetrius asked why Gong has Cambodian cash in which Cho told him to stop yapping and start packing before he began filling the carryall with Cambodian Rial before grabbing two more carryalls to filling with cash before loading it into the back of his car. Cho told Demetrius to get back in his car as a few Triads arrived to finish loading the money.
Cho get in the passenger seat as he told Demetrius that they were heading to 51 Pacific View Drive.

As they made their way to Treasure City, Cho explained to Demetrius that he was going to sit on the money for Gong with Demetrius commented that the saying he didn't think Cambodian Rial would be worth much the America anyway and said he has no interest in stealing it in which Cho told him to keep telling himself that.

Upon arrival at Peng's place - Hao dismissed Cho as he had a few his fellow Triads take the cash inside as Hao gave Demetrius some Seriale and told him that he will also uses his place as a safehouse before introducing Vincent and Demetrius to each other as he revealed to Demetrius that Vincent was the one that killed Cristóbal, Kiệt Dam, and Tai Cam - resulting in Demetrius anger as he was about to reach for his weapon before reminding Peng that his job was to protect Vincent before lifting his shirt and telling him that if he will cap him if he kills Vincent before telling him that he convinced Bucky Antonopoulos to meet up with him and encouraged him to take Vincent along with him before mentioning that Bucky has place on One Dollar Drive in Darren before stating that he needed time to set things up before leaving the pair alone with each other.

Vincent told Demetrius that he was going get some sleep while Demetrius stated he didn't care before heading for the door.

Mission objectives[]

  • Make your way over to 51 Pacific View Drive.
  • The Yakuza have set up roadblocks on the major highways and freeways! Avoid the major highways and freeways and get to 51 Pacific View Drive!
  • Get in your car.
  • Drive over to the Gong's Money House.
  • Drive over to the Peng's Place.

Aftermath[]

  • Following this mission - Vincent won't be able to return to San Fierro without being tracked down by endless waves of Yakuza and killed while Demetrius can now freely travel in Treasure City and San Fierro.
  • Demetrius becomes playable again following this mission.
  • Hao Peng's Place becomes the joint safehouse of Vincent and Demetrius with Demetrius taking the spare room opposite to Vincent with Vincent being able to use the garage but Demetrius was forced to park on the drive way to store his cars.

Weazel NEWS[]

Weazel NEWS begin by recapping the events of the Missions Say Pizza to Drugs and Yes to Not, and No Thanks to Hao with the cops mentioning that they were lucky to not lose any cold case as a result of a fire that was ignited in their warehouse before continuing on with a story of Eradicator 2: Punishment Era resuming after its director recovered from a stomach virus.
