Valeri Ericsson Santos (born 1972) is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a tritagonist and a retired armed forcer from the military in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Living. He is voiced by Robert Davi, who voiced Juan Cortez from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
History[]
Valeri was born and grew up in Portugal, spent yourth times as an armed force in the Portuguese army in the 80s and mid-90s. He started working as a armed force and a vigilante, in order to train some of the army skills and shooting skills. Due to his better skills in shooting, he reveals that he was a excellent shooter, until Kevin replies about it. Valeri is also a detective, where he works in 4 years ago, before in 1993, he moves to Los Santos.

Valeri: You think is it a good idea to make a life about that?
Kevin: Nah, I'm too good for my live, man.
After he moved to Los Santos in 1993, he mentions about Alexander Frank threatening Kevin and most of the crimes that Alexander caused. What makes Valeri feeling not happy about criminals, is that Officer Aaron treats Kevin like a "bigger whore and a douchebag". Kevin replied to Valeri about "he wanted to become a Vigilante instead of a gangster". Valeri is also a member of the Los Santos Experts, Kokeshi Gang and the helper of the OPT to their goal to take down the Los Roujas, Karin Crime Family and Michael Monroe soon.
Personality[]
Valeri is a very calm person, where he is considered to be a calmed guy. He is sometimes angry when something bad happens to Kevin or his closer friend, Valeri gets mad at a criminal and threatens to kill the criminal for doing something bad.

- Valeri is Portuguese, but that is because, Kevin doesn't underatand about his Portuguese nationality, he rather speak English.
- Valeri mentions the trouble that happened in 1974 in his nationality, would be a reference to the 25th of April, which happened in 1974 at Portugal.
