The car appears to be based on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W168), with cues taken from Fiat Stilo, Peugeot 307 and Renault Clio. The headlights are borrowed from the 1998 Audi TT and taillights are borrowed from the 2001 SEAT Ibiza.

It's possible how the car name was really the same to a character named Vibri from Vib-Ribbon, since the game was initially commissioned as an advertisement for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class car. After design issues surfaced with the car and the ad plan was dropped, development continued as a stand-alone game.
