Violent Resignation is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: North Yankton Stories. It is the first mission given to protagonist Tommy Bell by Felipe Hocker.
Description[]
Felipe Hocker, the CEO of Hocker Buildings Inc., calls Tommy and explains he needs him to do a favor for him. He also requests him to bring a bottle of vodka. Tommy doesn't sell vodka in his liquor store, so must buy one before getting to Hocker.
Tommy meets Hocker in his office at the construction site. Hocker explains his bodyguard Ebenizer has resigned, but as he knows so much about Hocker's businesses, Hocker can't take any risks and requests him to be killed.
Tommy is not exactly happy to play a hitman, but if the pay is good, he'll do it. Tommy finds Ebenizer in his hotel room, who escapes with a briefcase.
Tommy gives chase, and after Ebenizer's car has broken down and is cornered in hospital's underground parking garage, he begs for mercy and promises to give his briefcase full of evidence against Hocker if spared. Tommy then has two choices:
If Tommy kills Ebenizer, he drops his briefcase, and Tommy must take it to Hocker. Two star wanted level will be triggered. Ebenizer is out of the story for good.
If Tommy decides to spare Ebenizer, he'll hand over the briefcase and promises to leave town. He later appears in a random encounter. Tommy takes the briefcase to Hocker.
Hocker congratulates Tommy for bringing the briefcase and says he might have some more work for him.

- Ebenizer has abandoned his car. He's in the underground parking garage
- Kill or spare Ebenizer
- Lose your Wanted level (Only if Ebenizer is killed)
- Take the briefcase to Hocker

The reward for completing is 2000$.
